Function of Committee
The committee shall be concerned with the plans, policies, legislations and measures of: -

(a) Electric power generation and distribution

(b) Development and management of petroleum and mineral resources in Southern Sudan;

(c) Promotion of industrial development

(d) Development of non-renewable sources of energy

(e) Protection of environment

(f) Foreign investment in strategic sectors of the economy

(g) Any other functions that may be assigned by the Speaker or the Assembly.
